Rayak has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Harassment, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit or violent content, spam, scams, and impersonation are strictly prohibited. By creating an account or using Rayak you agree not to post objectionable content or behave abusively toward other members.
Every member can flag or report content and block other users from within the app. Blocking a user removes their content from your feed immediately and notifies our moderation team. We review reports and act on objectionable content — typically within 24 hours — by removing the content and, where warranted, ejecting the offending user by suspending or permanently banning their account.
By creating an account or using Rayak, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Rayak. The app is intended for members of the Rayak community.
Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.
You agree not to post or do anything that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing on others’ rights. No spam, scams, or impersonation. We may remove content and take action against accounts that break these rules.
You keep ownership of the content you create. By posting, you grant Rayak a non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content within the app so the service can function. You are responsible for the content you share.
To keep the community safe, we may review, hide, or remove content and may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms. We keep an internal log of moderation actions.
Rayak is a platform that connects neighbors. We are not a party to transactions between users and do not guarantee any item, service, event, or listing. Deal with other users at your own discretion and risk.
Businesses may purchase listing plans (e.g., 1, 3, 6, or 12 months). Pricing, renewals, grace periods, and visibility are described in the app. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Rayak is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rayak and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Rayak after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
